I took this pic at a nursery, I might go back for it if I have the location it needs.

Looks like one of the hybrid Euphorbia milli that come out of Thailand.  It is very easy to take cuttings from.

Jonna, be careful if it's a Euphorbia as some of them have a very caustic sap that can irritate your skin and your eyes very badly  :(

Very cool!  It's because of the sap of the Euphorbia that I don't have any, but would LOVE some!  Baby girl is always pulling and eating the plants, so nothing poisonous in this yard!

The thorns on it are pretty serious too.  I don't know if it would do well in a pot here or not.  Plus, I don't want to bump into it or have the cat chew on it.

It is also called "Crown of Thorns".  I have had one in a pot in my familyroom for many years now.  I never put it outside, it does lose leaves from time to time, and most of my 5 cats know not to go near it.  One cat will nibble on the leaves on occasion, but thankfully it hasn't done her any harm.

It is in a western window and gets the setting sun year round here in zone 6.

I have seen this hybrid crown of thorns in three colors, pinkish such as the one shown above and also in yellow and red.  I have a yellow variety out front and near the pond I have this red variety.  This one is about 5' tall.  The plant behind it with the thorns is a Madagascar Palm.

That's gorgeous!  I may have to go and get that plant.  Do you have it in shade?  I can't tell from the pic.

It's in full sun here Jonna but the photo was taken late in the day when the plant was in the shadow of the house from the setting sun.
