Whew...
« on: August 18, 2009, 11:24:26 AM »
Working on my model Pirate ship to keep busy and stay off of the knee. The deck is painted red so the blood won’t show and each cannon had to be painted and glued to it’s mount and then the deck. There are smaller cannons so included one with a toothpick for scale. Only 3,464 more parts to go before I start tying the rigging out of string.

You gotta start doing that ship in a bottle thing!  That one would fit!  I build model airplanes (that fly), but typically much larger!!!  Eyes don't work that well any more!!!   lol

You're assembling that inside a bottle, right?  :)

What have I gotten myself into this time? That is a dime so you can see how much fun painting the men is going to be. The bollards actually came in 2 pieces and luckily they had a hole in the bottom so I speared toothpicks in a blob of wax so I could paint them.
