yeah, I was looking at something from a "dealer" then went to a couple web sites and found similar (and in one case the same thing) for less money.  This is the internet age....gotta expect that people will go on line and shop around, you'd be a fool not to.

I so agree with this thread.  I have dabbled in retail and understand the importance of advertising and finding your audience.

This forum is like shooting fish in a barrel for the retailer.  All of the people here love ponds, plants, and fish.  If we can get a decent deal from a reputable seller, we are ON it.  The advertising to us is 100% free.  What a score for a retailer. 

Don't blow that, because it does not come along often....

In the best world we would have paid advertising.  It can happen,  Free ads that we offer here would no longer be free.  After all, if you had a paid ad  would you want your competitor to have his free?

If I had to pay a fee to advertise I would not give such good deals. If you check what I have posted and look around the Internet for the same product you would know I am giving the best deals I can. Because of Map pricing on a lot of products I can't offer cut pricing on them.
But if you PM me then I can offer better deals.
