Can you name this tree?
« on: July 21, 2007, 02:05:18 PM »
These trees were here when we moved here 8 years ago but we have no idea what they are.  Does anyone know the name of this tree?

Monica,  although I can't see the leaves on your tree very well I think that it is probably an ash tree, don't know which kind though.  There are several species of ash trees, they belong to the genus Fraxinus.  Fraxinus americana, white ash is very common in the wooded areas and fields near my home.  Hope this helps.  emm
