what do yout think?
« on: April 18, 2010, 11:17:12 AM »
Ive been looking for the parts i need for my pond and was looking for a skimmer i found
http://www.petmountain.com/show_product/522567/?utm_source=shoppingdotcom&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=522655
its the cheapest i found for the size-price wise. Anyone running this also if u have it where is the holes located on it
im looking for one that has the opening below water line so i can have gavity working on my side because the pump will be off to the side.
The pond water line will be about 20inch above where pump will be so if needbe i can add more filters away from pond. Im thinking  if my pond water line is 20inch above
i can have the drain and skimmer flow to a holding tank and then pump back from there to pond. What do you think? thanks for your feedback

I would ask a few of our advertisers.  They see the competition here and are very competitive.

Here is what I used in my pond. http://www.itsparadiseathome.com/ovation-skimmer.html I have a 8000 gph pump in mine, has a inlet at the bottom for drawing water from the bottom of the pond. It mounts inside the pond so no cutting the liner. The site has a install video if you are interested.
