I gave some embroidered golf towels to a fund raiser a while back. I was told I would receive a contribution form for our taxes. But when the form came, I had to fill in the values of the items. I have never purchased a golf towel in my life. This towel was a white fingertip towel and cost $2.75 to purchase and then I installed a grommet and hooked a shower curtain clip to it. And then embroidered the logo of the organization on them. There are 13,717 stitches in the design and 3 thread color changes. Typically embroiderers charge by the 1000 stitches. By the way I had to pay $13 to get the design digitized but can use it over and over. I put each towel in a 1 quart freezer bag to keep them nice.
Would $7.50 be a fair price? Or would you pay $10 for that towel? Just be honest. I don't want to set a price that is not reasonable.
By the way if you think this looks odd or crooked, it's supposed to look like a child drew it and colored it. PORT stands for Pediatric Oncology Resource Team.
