Thanks guys/gals. I guess I forgot how to post pictures. Thanks for taking the time to click on the links though. I will ask my son to help me out. (crazy sounding but yes our kids know more than most of us)
The pond is a rounded 13' x 18' approximately 5500 gallons. 5 and 1/2 feet deep. I have 8 koi in the 15 to 18" range 2 shubukins, 1 comet, 2 goldfish, 3 sarassas, and 5 5" koi volunteers from some plants I bought. Its got a boggy filter in and at the bottom of the stream on the right. I have 2 55 gallon gravel and sand filters with a third built but not hooked up yet. I went through the first summer ponders blues (greens) and my first winter. After a cuple of bad calls on my part I think we've made it through and learned many things along the way.
Bullfrog the deck is pressure treated. I had a pond with a deck around it for years down in Florida with no problems. I will be staining it soon to match the porch.
Almost all the plants in the pond and bog were purchased from American Ponder members. I would like to thank Barb Lawanna and Kat for a great bunch of plants at a great price. More than I could even have imagined.
