Pretty but it seems like the neighbors are right in your lap, no privacy. Must be cold out there with icy water all around.

Actually, only in the winter. The bay here is in the 60s already.
In the summer those inland bodies of warmer get in the upper 80s, sometimes even warmer.
But you are right, not much privacy although they have some HUGE Blue and Norway Spruces around the property.
As far as I am concerned, it's urban there. Not for me.
I need my little country house on a 70' elevation, no fear of 'the big storm'. (where we live now)
I grew up right on the beach, beach front house, and never, ever want to see the ocean at my back door again.

That house is going under every time there's a hurricane.
Doesn't happen much here, but I do not want to be on that island during a bad storm!

Wonder if the builders/owners ever thought of the potential danger. Wonder if they are required to have flood insurance.

Location, location, location! Can you imagine this island in Balboa, CA?! It's ideal but for the weather problems it can have. Love the pond!

Relatively cheap fpor where it is. Sounds like a distressed sale, perhaps we shouuld all chip in for an AP vacation house

I think it is really cheap because it may be haunted or something, haven't you all seen movies where a house like this is haunted and then everybody gets killed....
