AP Pond awards
« on: July 14, 2010, 07:11:05 PM »
Am I missing something here, I went to the awards section and see that the last post there is last year.  And I cant post anything there to ask why.

I am sure since we are all a small community of DIYers that recognition may not be important, since we are all awesome = ).

But none the less I Vote ESTHER because she is so kind, helpful, and welcoming, she should be our next dr phil = )  but everywhere I go she has posted that says that she takes the time to help everyone.

And Jerry because if we give him an award it maybe lucky enough to beat those darn tickets ( freakin street sweepers) = )

everyone have a great day

;D I think that the work load is very heavy for the upkeep of this website.  We can only hope that Sean and Jerry keep it online for us to enjoy.  Those other things are very minor.

True Annette. Sean has a full time very responsible and highly technical job.
I am very involved in several other buisness activities.  Acting is the least time consuming.

I started the Awards section years ago to keep people interested over the off season months. I barely have time to post here now much less continue with the awards. Esther already has the Poster of the Day award from Back in October of 2006. There is no doubt that she does post all over the forum.

Cheers,
Sean

So If i got this straight Jerry and Sean run this website?  Jerry whom I have met, Sean nice to meet you.  I am a very busy man as well I was just curious is all, sorry.  But I was just thinking that if all the posts were more current the website may get larger, I had just noticed there are alot of posts here old is all.  But I guess if the website got bigger it would be overwhelming.  Anyhow nice to meet you all

Lerchcon--I would imagine that the old posts are left for information:  meaning people asking questions about various pond/garden related topics.  If you type a question into the search box--it will bring up the topics that may fit your question.  If they were gone then the information would be as well.

If you see a "lock" by it, you'll know it stays and we don't reply to it.
