Calico Beans
1/2 lb. cut up bacon fried     1 t. salt
1/2 C. chopped onion           1 16 oz. can pork & beans
1 lb. hamburger fried           1 16 oz. can lima beans
1/2 C. catsup/ketchup          1 16 oz. can kidney beans
3/4 C. brown sugar              1/2 C. barbecue sauce
1 t. mustard                       2 t. vinegar

Fry bacon, hamburger, and onions. Drain off grease. Drain juice from canned beans and dump everything in crock pot together. I suppose you could put it in a casserole dish too and bake like baked beans.

I of course did things differently. I didn't have lima beans so dumped in a can of great northern beans. I also had some left over sloppy jo in the freezer and dumped that in. Then I shredded up a yam and added that in. Oh and there were some chuncks of summer sausage left from breakfast so I diced that and dumped it in. Otherwise I made it exactly like the recipe. LOL.
