Scott the old climb in the pond and net it out before it becomes a problem. Not let nasty duckweed take over a pond, same with frogbit and rip hyicenths out of pond. Just do it or don't put in your ponds.

I know how to control it, put it in my ponds. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Frogbit, but it nor Water Hyacinths grow for me.  :'(  Now I can grow Duck Weed, but would rather not. lol

Nancy, European Frogsbit should grow for you. It is smaller than the American version and has a different color bloom.
