Yellow Watermelon
«
on:

Probably a few new people here have never see a pic of Yellow Watermelon so here goes
I reciently transplanted it from the test bed where it was being overrun by other lilies into two beds of their own.
I have about 30 plants now.
The first pic is a new bed, the others are in the test bed. In a few weeks it is going to be beautyful.

That pale yellow bloom is beautiful--but the design on the pads is stunning!

Yes the leaves are the main thing but the flower is unique among yellows and quite nice on it's own. A tough flower on a tough plant. 7-8 inches.
