pea soup????

Hi everyone
I started my pond like a month ago and I add my first fishies this past friday (one week tomorrow) on monday my water turn gree, and now I have a pea soup! so today I decide to buy a smart pond uv clarifier! i'm having problems cnecting it together I think I'm missing something.  to start with the uv clarifier doesnt stay at the bottom, I have the pump filter kit (the one that is a box) I need help any ideas??? here is the link to the uv clarifier  http://www.lowes.com/pd_248376-48650-PCUV9_4294857869_4294937087?productId=3027982&Ns=p_product_price|0&pl=1&currentURL=/pl_Pond%2BAccessories_4294857869_4294937087_?rpp=30$Ns=p_product_price|0

Are you trying to use this IN the water? Many/most UV clarifiers are not intended to be submerged; I have no knowledge of this one however. Do the instructions say it can be submerged?

Also, I am not sure I understand the problem you are having. Can you elaborate?

Here is my pea soup because  had not enough plants and feeding my koi. This was in June maybe

I started throwing water hyicents in it and put some Euryale ferox lilies in there and in a few weeks it cleared up because the plants took away the algae food

It was nasty and slimy. I have no uv light. I have a vegetable filter and another home made filter box and a filter box that spouts. But it was the water hyicents and plants that cleared it up. Years ago I learned when you put water into new ponds or tubs it goes through a cycle that you have green water unless you spend a lot of money on something to remove it. And if you have a natural balance between plants and water it clears it up. I have ponds with no filter at all and they are clear because of plants here is one

thank you all I think I was just frustrated but I found how to conected it say in 72 hrs it should be clear so I will keep you all posted!! and I'm also adding some plants not too many but some :(
