Happy Birthday Scott. Hope it goes well and you enjoy it as much as possible. Do you have any special plans? I hope you guys are not too broke with the moving into the new digs, that you can't celebrate, at least a little.
The weather here has gotten cold all of a sudden and the ground was all white with frost for the first time this fall. Luckily Pete brought in the plants from the deck that I'm trying to winter over in the house. But even though it is now 44* out there, the sun is shining and the sky is beautiful blue with a few fluffy clouds. Mittens the cat was begging to go out this morning so I opened the door a little. She just stood there, sniffed a few times and turned around, like, "It's too cold out there. Guess I'll sleep on the bed today."
The only plans we have for the day is to go out to dinner at Olive Garden with my dad and his wife. My Facebook is full of good wishes and that is nice.
