Talk about Sensitive!
« on: June 09, 2011, 09:57:24 AM »
New plant toy!  My Sensitive plant is so fun to mess with that I have it next to my kitchen sink and window.  I love watching the leaves close up and open again.  Sometimes the branches drop with a mere slide of touch.  I did a bit of research on this plant and found out it's a prickly problem weed elsewhere  :o  I've had it for almost a month now and it's grow tall.  Does anyone know if I can give it a haircut?

I don't know about a haircut but I do have a question.  Will the leaves fold up if you blow hard on them?

The leaves do turn up if blown and also by wind on my window sill.
