the rain finally stopped
« on: March 29, 2011, 07:00:44 PM »
We finally have had sunshine for the last 2 days!  I was starting to feel soggy.  My veggie garden has mold on the dirt from all the moisture!

I got out to the pond and got all the hyacinths trimmed and cleaned up.  It felt so good to be out in the sunshine!  It's supposed to be 80* by Thursday!  @O@  This lilies are even starting to grow and I saw a bud coming up on Almost Black.

Enjoy your sunshine & send the rain our way.  We are in drought conditions.
Kat

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

Who knew I would welcome the sun and HEAT!?!  Vege garden started poorly with all the rain we received.  All the new transplanted veges need the sun to soak up way too much moisture at the roots.

I know the feeshies will expect feeding time to be more regular with the heat.  It stayed pretty warm into the early evening here.  Should I even set up the outdoor dining area?  ;)

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

I think it's headed towards both of you! We are at 130% already, now they are worried about the heat causing the snow to melt too fast and we will have flooding.

We are getting rain again on Saturday and then hopefully it will dry out a little bit - like Annette said, the veggies aren't loving it.

Got out in the yard tonight and cleaned everything up and rearranged the furniture for summer time bbqs and evenings by the fire.

My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!
