What stores carry this? What is it used for otherwise?
I heard they carry it a Lowes. I went to my local Lowes and they never heard of it. Talked to a couple employees.

Is this something that should be on a shelf or something behind the counter?
I've read lots of info of other ponders using it but very little info on where to obtain it other than buying it from web sites.

I found mine at ACE hardware & SEARS use to have it in the water softener area. Have also seen it online at eBay

Ours comes to our door from the Culligan Man.
It's for our iron filter........I'd never put it in our fish pond.

I get mine at chemistrystore.com. My water bill would be a killer without it. If you know the accurate volume of your pond, measure using a gram scale and follow protocols, it can be safe, especially if you are using low doses just to clean the water.
