This looks to be a year without frogs for me. You would think, living a couple blocks from the Wisconsin river, I would have more than my fair share. Last year I got some from a buddys big farm pond. This year he can't find any.

Beautiful frog, I've never seen one with those markings before. I had a cat that flipped most of my frogs out earlier this summer, but now I have about 5 that are totally huge! I don't know if they've come in from our creek when it was dry and they were looking for water. If that's the case then they are probably bull frogs. I still can't figure out how to tell green frogs from bullies. The differences are too subtle for me.
