Update on Matt and stuff
« on: May 20, 2011, 04:19:18 AM »
We got Matt's latest scan results on Tuesday, they were still stable! @O@ Of course the Dr had to AGAIN stress how he is not cured and never will be and that the goal of treatment is to stave off the cancer as long as possible.  >:( Why do they have to keep restating that? We are fully aware of what we are up against, just let us enjoy the moment!! Anyway, treatment continues as do the side effects of it. He's on a premanent 5 lb lifting restriction because of the hernia that they never plan on fixing. We still dont' know if he will be able to return to work, he's really anxious to go back. Doug (14), Matt's Dad and I have been working on the new pond at Mom's when the weather will permit. It's coming along slowly. We have also been moving things over there slowly. We plan on making the final move in June or July.

I'm happy to hear the good news but sorry to hear that he was ill.  Will send prayers
