If I may put in a plug our local growers club is awarding $500 to the person with the largest tomato.

Hey Jerry.....  How do you know it was Savannah who grew those?  I only see a bunch of tomatoes in a bowl.....not on a bush showing Savannah picking them...   ;D

Yup - the great 'mater challenge is on... But Jerry has a longer growing season than we do. :)
Its about to get too hot for maters...
But there is a new hybrid I planted - Solar Flare~! Supposed to keep on producing through the hottest weather.

Mostly I cook Fufu, Mexican and Italian, all of which use copious amounts of tomatoes. I have about 15 quarts put in the freezer.

Id say you already beat me to pieces.  I do have a few plants that are loaded with blossoms and small fruit  A Roma on the patio looks like it's gong crazy.  I have a new "Everglades tomatoe in the greenhouse, but can't get them in the ground yet. see below.

I tore a Meniscus and am not keeping up at all.
I did clean the priming pot today and found a dead goldie.  :'( The falls were running slow.

I am improving rapidly all of a sudden, so there is hope.
I may paint a few cantaloup's red and tell the folks here they are my tomatoes!

Oopps I just gave it away!

Good to see you Savannah

I have a few blooms today on my tomatoes.  With the drough, grasshoppers and rabbits  we "might" get lucky enough to have a couple to pick.
