Moved in with my folks :)
« on: December 29, 2006, 07:34:33 PM »
No, I didn't leave Shane  :-)~ it's just way easier to sell your house when you aren't trying to chase 2 two year olds and keep it clean too.  So that's why I haven't been around; forgot to send the link to the board to my email. oops.

Good Christmas apart from having my hair lit on fire at the Midnight service at my mom's church.. oops. lost about 1/4 of one side but all underneath so as long as my hair is down it doesn't look bad. I have been growing it out for over 3 years and is getting so nice. well, was.

No movement on our house yet and we are putting an offer in on a house after the next viewing which hopefully will be Sunday. nasty flu bug in their house so not going to force them out to see it.

So that's my update. Hope you are all well.
Mom of twins, knitting nut, and want to get back into water gardening.

Good luck selling your house and good luck on the new purchase!!!!

Ours goes on the market the day we leave for Texas--Jan. 8. We've been up until 3 or 4 a.m. the past week or so working on it (easier to work on it when the kids are sleeping). Ugh! Today, I painted the kitchen cabinets white and DH put up drywall in the bathroom. He's currently laying a primer for a leveling underlayment material. Oh boy are the next 12 days going to be hectic!!!!

Show us some photos of the house you are considering when you get a chance. :)

OMG, your poor hair!

I hope you get a new house soon, and I hear you with 2 year olds.  I can barely keep up with my little guy who is almost 3, I would be a basketcase with twins!

Gosh Krista, the last time I went to church they threw water on me, so was not keen on returning. Did not also realise there was a fire thing too. Quite exciting the old Anglican church is getting to be!

I have always heard that the constant keeping of the home spotless during a sale was almost the biggest stress, so good move. Luckilly for me, the last (and only) time I sold a home was in 2000, right at the begining of the housing boom, so it sold in 27 minutes, way before I could even think about looking for the broom. (Whew!)

Cheers,

Mike

Best luck Krista. I hear this is the lowest season for sales so I hope you get your asking price and sell fast.

Krista:

Good luck with the house sale.  evidently the housing market is starting yo pick up again with inventory decreasing for the first time in the last 6 months.  so if the economy can hang in check i think the market will rebound this spring.

Yes Mike is really very funny!
Good luck Krista with the sale and hope you get the house you want. We've sold several homes with small children around and it's hell trying to keep the house clean. Pete and I got very good at the 30 minute high speed clean thing.
