Frog!
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:57:49 AM »
This frog is larger than the ones we usually see around the pond, and was just sitting on this flat rock at the edge of the pond last evening - he sat there for hours! He let me get up front and personal for some nice shots, so I took them from all sides.

Looks like a male green frog, which from what I understand are more tolerant of humans than Bullfrogs. Feed him some worms and he will surely be your best friend. o(:-)

Awww, nice looking frog--he looks brown and toadyish on his bottom half.  I always like when they are sunning themselves on rocks and you walk by the pond and the the familiar "eeeeeek", then splash after you startle one back into the water!   8)

Yep, nice lookin' green frog! We love them. Moved 3 over to our new house, but they keep disappearing. Hopefully they will be back.
