I banned the posters and removed the posts. There had to be 8 or 9 !
The posts are usually nonsense so I have no idea why they bother.
I understand we cannot ban a country.  if we could Afghanastan would be gone.
Turns out it's not really Afghanastan, It is generated by robots!

These are not real people signing up for an account on AP.

As I have mentioned before, it is an automated program called a "Robot" that is programmed to sign up on forums to place links in messages in order to direct traffic to their own sources.

The reason Afghanistan always comes up on many of these is that the "Country" option is mandatory during registration. Robots are not smart so they select the first country on the list which happens to be Afghanistan. At least they stick out and we can easily remove them.

It is better to ban Spamvertisers so you have a record of the user name, email, and IP address. This way they can not return. If you just delete the account, they can still return and sign back up as there is no history of the user name, email or IP address.

And why are the messages so meaningless?  My guess is that clicking on a link can be trouble.
I see Pakistan too is given as a source, "P" is pretty far down in the alphabet.
