A perfect day for taking pictures
« on: January 13, 2007, 09:59:05 PM »
This afternoon as the sun was on it's way down for the day, I took the camera out to get shots of the scenery around here. We live in a very rural area in the middle of the city so to speak. Our property looks down to the south onto farm lands and we have mountain views to the north. And naturally the snow makes it all even more beautiful.
Hope you enjoy viewing these. I had a nice time out with Lucky and camera today.

The banks of the Fraser River at Fort Langley.

A nice red barn.

And the sunset just down the road from us.

Beautiful and serene!  Almost makes me wish I were there to see the snow in person.  Almost.....

Hi Maryvonne:

A beautiful day indeed!  Love the barn shot, is that right off the highway I seem to remember seeing one like that near the honey store.

Thanks every one. We are suppose to get more snow tomorrow night then it's back to our normal rain. Hope you get some this time around Krista.
Gary, that isn't the barn that you saw from the hwy. This is the one visible from the hwy by the Honey Bee store. It's not quite as nice but the mountains in the back are nice.

So beautiful.  I love the one with the Church in it.  Looks so peaceful, and a place were things aren't so busy, and the one with the barn is very pretty.  Such a bright, bright red against that white stuff.  Thanks for sharing.

Very cool pix Maryvonne, I love the snow, there's nothing quite like a brisk walk on a beautiful sunny winter day!

Gorgeous - the pics and the scenery!  Very cool red barn and I really love the shot with the church too.
