I am working at a Nature Center, and on the 23rd of June, I am giving a class about water gardening. What I plan to do is make a power point presentation on everything that is ponding. I would like to have a large part of the class be about what kind of pond they want, and what they will stock it with. Plants or fish, or both. And the ways the two can work together, and won't work together. (as in fish eating plants)
I need photos I can include along with the presentation. I thought who better to ask than people on this board who have hundreds of different kinds of ponds, large, small, above ground, in ground, with fish, without fish, etc. So if you wouldn't mind me using your pond in a power point, as an example for a specific type of pond please post it.
I'm really looking for all types of ponds, large and small, unique, basically everything that you want to post. I will build my presentation around your pond(s).
Pond pix I'd really like to have;
Large/small mud pond
Bog pictures-attached to a pond or not
Large above ground
KOI dedicated pond
Pictures of your KOI, or other fish
Unique small water features
A large Lotus blooming
Waterfalls/streams
Ponds with unique plants/critters
Really, anything you feel like sharing.
Member specific;
Jerry, I'd like to include your pond, specifically for the turtles, and such.
SueTX, for the tanks and what you have been able to do with them, and the way they have multiplied over the years.
Sean, your amazing balcony display pond! And, if you don't mind, I may even touch on your dixie cup method.
I know there are more that I have seen, and would like to have-probably too many to list. I could have just searched and tried to find them, but I'd rather let people know that I would like to use their ponds to excite people to get into ponding. That way, you can tell me a bit about it as well if you like.
Thanks for any help on this!
