I hope you are rooting those cuttings from those Brugs...  That Yellow from John Johns is an amazing bloomer, probably the best I have ever seen.

Cheers,

I can't remember where you planted your brug Jerry, but if it is near your pond, patio or pvc water lines, BEWARE....  I ended up removing my beautiful brug because the root system became massive and started damaging a nearby concrete slab and brick patio.  It lifted and broke a pvc irrigation line and ran its roots some 20 feet into that line before I finally put an end to it....  I miss the evening fragrance of mine.....but not the physical damage those roots caused.....

My 39 cent evergreen elms  have cost thousands. New sewer line underway we will end up with a 10, 000 bill.
Paid 3800.00 so far.  Yikes!  It is nice to shower.
My Burgies are placed well, but purely by luck.  Thanks Mike, I had no idea.

I have always liked the look of that tree/shrub...did not know that the flowers were fragrant. Does it also go by "Trumpet" in layman's terms?
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

The common name is" Angel's Trumpet."  Yes very fragrant.

Re:  the plumbing problem above.  I fired the plumber, got a new one and saved close to $5000!
First guy planned to dig a hole for $2000 !   The diggers he had must have Harvard degrees.

I remember yours Mike, the one at the side of the house in the back yard. It was a massive tree.

It is not in shade. 8). It is part of the canopy over the pond.  The others get no shade,
