Esther will poke her head in here and say she is doing just fine. If it wasn't for 1/4" hair and a dent in my chest about the size of my thumb, I wouldn't know that anything had happened. Oh I do still have to take Coumiden to thin my blood but I'm hoping that at my MD's appt the 27th that she'll take me off that. It was because they found blood clots in my lungs back in April. I still have to go to the local Cancer infusion center every 3 weeks for a 30 minute infusion of Herceptin for a year and I take a tiny yellow pill every night. I think I'll be taking that pill for a year. Both the Herceptin and the pill are to reduce the effects of the natural estrogen that my body makes. (LIke I don't have enough chin hair now. Also waiting for my voice to drop) The tumor was estrogen fed so if a piece of it has moved, the pill and infusion hopefully will keep it toned down. Who knows?
