Big ice storm last weekend
« on: December 14, 2013, 07:19:23 PM »
Got an unusual ice storm last weekend & forgot to get pics of the ponds.  At least I did have them covered with their coldframes a month before & they had been doing fine.  Need to check them this weekend.  I was getting blooms but I'm sure the below freezing temps for nearly a week made them go dormant.

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

We had about 6" of ice on my still tanks.  I'm ready for it to warm up.

It's a good thing your pond has a snuggie.  :)  Very pretty.
