anyone growing water purslane?

the  common purslane pops up every where.  It may be ok in a pond too, not sure. I am sure turtles and some fish will eat it.  that is the idea.

I planted it in my ponds and I like it. It grows from the bottom and breaks lose and floats to the surface. 10 ft deep or more. Marginal or oxygenator plant. I don't know that turtles like it a lot but I do. I have so much of it I wouldn't notice if they eat it. I assume they do.
