So, there is another baby red ear swimming in my pond!
« on: May 28, 2014, 04:48:03 PM »
I found one in a pot of muck I was cleaning a month or so ago.  Now here is one that looks 2 months old swimming. Among the mature turtles.  I assume he came from the same hatch.  Of course  I have not seen him again.
Now I wonder how many are there, and will they survive?
The sooner I get six out of the aquarium and into the pond, the happier I will be.

Thought you might like to see this year's batch of painted turtles that emerged at my pond this spring.

Beautiful!!  Loved the video on you tube too!
Apparently at least 2 babies showe up in the pond too. Where  they hatched I will never know!
