Here are some pics of my big pond and the lilies in them. All of the lilies in it are TMike's hybrids.

Very nice, his lilies are hybrids of what?
I noticed that the blooms are above the water like tropicals.

Bob, they are hardy lily hybrids. They are not crosses with H X T. They are hybrids from different hardy lilies so I do not know what the parent plants are.

Is it normal for hardy blooms to be that far above the water level? The only time that I've had hardies do that was when they were very crowded and they weren't nearly that high.

Some hardy lilies stand taller out of water than others, while some sit right on the water. Guess it depends on what the parent plants were that would determine that. Maybe TMike will see this and respond.

I've been enjoying TMike's JTB (Just too pretty) crosses also. Mine stand above the water on heavy stems.
