They are like a regular aquarium but for one end only having glass half-way up to accommodate an outside hanging filter. They have a floating basking area, a heat lamp and a UVB lamp. I sometimes have more than 20 at a time in an aquarium for a year before I release them. Mine are painted turtles that can be released to the wild as they are indigenous to this area.
