Teresa, that is Bloodroot, aka Sanguinaria canadensis. It's a tiny little native wildflower, only 4-6" tall.

We have big trees down all over here.
Good thing is, every one I saw did not fall on anyone or anything, except for blocking roads.
And most were rotted inside, so they were doomed anyway.

I saw on the way home yesterday in a town called 'Middle Island', many homes underwater, especially around the Swan Lake area. Was scarey and sad. The water was up to the road (Route 25) on either side, like a causeway.
Haha Sheila...Maybe!

Steve, thought I'd have energy to go mailbox shopping yesterday after pre-op testing, but I didn't.
Stopped by a place in Middle Island to meet another forum friend for the 1st time, and ended up meeting 2 guys from Koiphen, both who work at the same place: Reliable Fence and Garden. They have a lot of pond stuff there too, and I bought 3 new shubunkins, including 2 golden yellow spotted with black.
Nice guys, and one likes to surf cast...so he may be coming out this way soon with his surfcasting rod!
