More Paws
« on: April 16, 2007, 01:30:10 PM »
Checked last night at about 3 AM and the nanny was in labor.  Looked again at dawn and had two on the ground; a couple hours later and they were up and around.<g>  Not the best pic, but two little girls.

I want the little black one!  No wait.  You keep them for me okay?  We're not suppose to have goats here...

Congrats, cute kids....Goats are just so cute.  I have a friend a couple streets over that has them, along with lots of different kinds of chickens.  One of the cleanest farms I've ever been on.

Funny, my cousin (half sister by blood) had twin girls today too, but the two legged kind  ;)  One named Makenzie the other Madison.

Kim

I went back and looked at the pic again and read my post, thought I needed to ad something else.  It didn't sound right to just leave it like it was.  So.......

Just to clear it up, one sister had me and one sister took me and raised me.  The bio mother remarried later and had two more children.  But I have twin boys, and now she has twin girls the twins are really starting to show up.

How darling!  I love goats, will these get very big or are they pygmy goats?  Don't you love their eyes, their pupils go "sideways"!   :D

OH!!  ;) They are so cute.

DH and I both grew up on the farm but never had goats. We talk about "someday" getting some acreage and getting Pygmy goats and guinea hens.

Awww, I want one!  We used to have 2 on the farm growing up so they could eat around all the equipment that my Grandpa had.  Their names were Billy and Lilly...LOL!!  I have thought about getting one or two, but now that we have a travel trailer we won't have time for goats.

How adorable!  Our dd wanted a goat for the longest time, but we only have an acre and couldn't do it.  She carried on so much that when the neighbors had baby bunnies and she wanted one, it was a relief to give in.

I'm with Teresa...I like the gray, white, and black one best.  They are both adorable!  o(:-) o(:-) o(:-)

I'd love to have pygmy goats, but I'd have to build a pen of some sort.  There are too many coyotes around here.   :-\

How cute, I always wanted to have some little pygmy goats, but here you have to have 3 acres and we are just under that.

They are pygmy goats and are cute as can be.  My youngest daughter always wonders why they aren't used in advertising as funny as their antic behavior is.  It is as though they are born with springs on their feet.

We have coyote here as well, but my main problem predator are the bobcat.  So until the newborns have gotten a sproing in their step, I set-up a tent in the pasture and act as the guard dog.  Usually only one night,,,sometimes two as they are close to the house and out of the cats normal hunting turf.

This picture is from yesterday...they won't stand still enough for a good one.  The barrel with the slab?  Part of the playground for the three month old weather we have....he thinks he is a mountain goat.<g>
