Dwarf Cavendish

Have you ever heard of a banana tree growing in a pond? Well I saw it last yr and could not believe it. I bought one sunday. It was at a greenhouse in the pond section. It is dwarf Cavendish banana. Its tag says 1/2 inch depth. I bought it and I am going to try it.

I have heard of it...they like lots of water....but, I would imagine it would be a pain in the back side to keep standing up right....I just plant mine around the pond...I got the Dwarf Cavendish this year too....

Yes, we had a member in NC she was a grower too.  Posted nice pics of same.
I will think of her name...Sr. Moment here. ::)
