A few minutes ago while sitting at the computer I felt a gentle swaying.  At first I thought I was light headed and I got up and walked into another room and was about to ask the fetching Mrs. Mikey if she felt that and before I opened my mouth she said, "Yes, I felt it".....   

I enjoy visiting the USGS earthquake site that does a phenomenal job of recording quakes and this is what I found just a few minutes after I felt the quake:

No damage here at all.  It was gentle and quite brief.  The USGS has downgraded it to a 5.1.  We are 115 miles southwest from the epicenter which was out in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the mountain range.....

You can where the San Andreas fault is as indicated by that cluster of constant small quake activity that seems to form a line from the Mexico border up through San Francisco and then off into the Pacific.

   I didn't notice any rolling or shaking    So I have nothing. 

This morning I did hear that this shake could have been an aftershock of an earthquake a couple or less years ago.

I'm majoring in electronic stuff and this semester was extremely hard for me, I was taking two college math classes, besides physics, computer programation, digital electronics (this one is a butt kicker I was pretty much in school all day because of this one and its practices, thanks school yuck!!!!.) and well that is pretty much why haven't I posted anything.
