Thanks Teresa and Maryvonne. :)

The top 2 pix are tropical...not hardy.
But I plan on trying to overwinter this one.

I know someone whose greenhouse is being built right now who would be glad to help you overwinter it  ;) ;D :)

Joyce - it's pretty easy to overwinter.  I bring mine in as soon as the night time temps start to drop below 60.  (It weeps and wilts if it's left out in temps below about 55.)  I just trim the tips of the branches off and put it in the kitchen by the door - one of my sunniest spots.  It gets very lanky and leggy and it loses a lot of leaves, but it makes it every year.  I've had it for about 5 or 6 years now.  Your laundry room probably gets enough sun for it to stay much happier.

I am really working hard on my bosses to get me MY OWN greenhouse here at home. (Xmas Bonus Hint)
It would probably be attached to the old original garage.
I picked out a smallish one (12 x 24) out or our wholesale catalog and showed it to one of my bosses,
and his first comment was it was too small. ;D
The next one up was 16 x 32. @O@

We shall see. :-X
I would like it up and running before the first frost. 8)
I am NOT getting my hopes up.

That varigated hibiscus is a beautiful true red,,,and I LOVE red in the garden.  I don't have enough of it.  I hope your dreams come true on the green house Joyce, I am hinting that I want raised beds for my veggie garden next year and DH is turning blind ears and eyes my way &-)    I'd hate to have to turn on feminine wiles to get my way..... ;)    :D    (8:-)  But I WANT those beds.....

Those are truly beautiful Joyce.  I didn't even know there was a varigated hibiscus.

Lovely plant with a beautiful true red. I like it.
