This is an email I received from Joyce.
She gave me permission to pass it on...

"Very cool!
Every single plant you sent me is doing well. YAY!
Bill is out there right now putting a mulch/compost layer down all over everything.

FYI: Got my biopsy reports back today.
They found a tiny bit of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in the same spot again. ( Size: .3 mm )
Saw my Onc today and she kept me from having a complete meltdown.
( I was melting down emotionally. ) I'm much better now.
Have to have full body PET, BONE and CT scans done next week.

I have been missing her presence and wondering how she is but not sure who or where to ask. Thanks Johns for the update. Lots of love going out to you Joyce and many caring thoughts. You can beat it, it's very tough but so are you.

Jonna: Joyce still posts regularly over on Koiphen. I can't remember if she uses "Swimming Jewel" or "Joyce". In any event, Jerry has a Koiphen link in his "Links" section on top.

Oh no, this on top of having a double mastectomy?

My best wishes for a speedy recovery from surgery and for a cancer free scans/tests in the future.

Glad Bill is taking over the garden chores, seeing things needing to be done and not being able to do them would be very hard for Joyce.

Joyce is a unique woman, strong and steadfast. She's a rock and clearly
will do what needs to be done to beat this. She's in my thoughts and prayers all the time.
I wish she would come back to this forum. I know we all agree how she contributed to
this forum, and how much she's missed.

JoAnn is correct, we ALL agree that she has contributed much to this forum.

Wishing her well and great to hear that she has a DH that will help her with her gardening that she loves so much.

I too think of Joyce and keep her in my prayers. I'm sad to hear that she is having to go thru so much again...

Ah nuts, poor girl. This is certainly a tough road for her. She's a fighter and I have faith that she will kick the "C" word to the curb.
