CoolShades ... What's that Netting?

Cool Shades, in your pic of Texas Dawn lily in the photo sharing section, I noticed black netting over two of the emerging blooms.

What's that for?  ??

It's part of my protection from deer!  A few years ago they wiped me out and i have been using nets/trellis for the last couple of years, but as Lou said it is a war!  Toll brothers is developing the old Girl Scout camp (185 acres that I backed up to so the deer really have no place to go,,, eventually I suspect we will not see them anymore.
