Colorado blooms - Thanks Gajen
« on: June 16, 2007, 07:35:31 AM »
My season has been sooooo slow to start this year, I am beyond excited to have at least one active lily.

I must be excited - look at me posting a pic slowing slime on my waterfall and the scrubbies coming out the filter after last night's raccoon festival!

Cheers,

Mike

Glad you are happy and they are pretty.  I have three Miami Roses' open this morning. I just potted five lily's and set them out in a temp. lily pond.

You can always count on Colorado!!!  I have a couple in my big pond, small pond, shade pond -- and now going to try it out in a container garden.  It never lets me down!

gotta love Colorado!! nice job of capturing that translucent quality it has when the light hits it right! personally, on the waterfall is the one place i like having green slime. i think it looks more natural and works as a great filter element. and the scrubies could have been blue rocks if you hadn't told us what they were.

but the green water... >:(-

 ;D

seriously - looking good Mike! you have one of the nicest semi-formal ponds around!!

I love that shot, all those huge plants along the sides, pretty blooms.  Waterfall looks just fine I think, natural like even with the blue rocks  {:-P;;

Looks fabulous Mike!

My Colorado has never bloomed :( Perry's Baby Red is really cranking them out though.
