nice dahlias!! first i have seen this year outside of a few very crummy ones at HD yesterday. Thanks!  O0

mine are just coming to about 6" tall or less. still looking for some of them. all your lilies are also eye catching. the overall shot at the end really puts it all in perspective. nice post(s)!  8)

Nice collection of plants in your shade garden. Love the different colors and textures. Nice double daylily too. Pretty kitty. I wish I had a spot to do a cutting garden. Dahlias just bloom and bloom but I don't like them in my landscape.

What's that pink flower with the yellow center, on a tall stalk?

You have some great looking flowering plants.  What's the name of the plant in the photo just above the cone flowers (Echinacea).

Julles: Looks like a Holllyhock to me.

Julles, yes the pink flowers on the tall stalks with a number of blooms are hollyhocks.

Mikey, hummm, I know the name ... but I can not spell it... it is a vine with a name like Gloria.... that is the best I can do tonight...   :P

Myra: I think you are referring to the Gloriosa Lily, a climber, but I'm looking at the flowers in the photo above the cone flowers.  The photo is labeled DSCF0800.  Those flowers are huge but I'm completely unfamiliar with the plant.
