I think both are appropriate Jerry.
That pond is really taking on the lush, tropical look.
Any secrets you want to share?
Cheers,
Mike

Looks great my friend
Mine is bare but has just been set back up this week after sitting disassembled in the center of the deck waiting a month and a half to be painted.
I will fertilize the lilies before I leave for LA this weekend and hope for a few blooms when I return.
Cheers,
Sean

My "secret" and it is hardly a secret is Osmocoat! It was a tip given to me by a member.
No burnt looking leaves this year, so it must be the way to go. It feeds nice and S L O W !

I'd say "Woo Hoo!", but I think it means the same thing.
Whatever it is behind your Lotus (Taro? Collocasia? Allocasia?) looks fantastic, especially as a background plant.
Gotta love that Osmocote.

Osomocote works well. Your pond is looking very nice Jerry and that's a very good photo. It looks so inviting.

Yes, that is a big elephant ear. I prefer the variety with the leathery leaves. I find that plants close to the pond do exceptionally well, It has to be that nice humidity.

Mine were crispy in the past. I am not certain what good luck has befallen them. Must be Osmocoat!.
