Guess lotus by leaf size?? Johns??? This one has HUGE leaves

Well to me anyway they are huge comparing to the ones I had last year......  The floating leaf in a few days has grown to be almost 20" across.  What is considered huge for lotus leaves??  Sure am glad I put him in the big lotus pond and not one of the tubs.  Any guess??

The leaves in the middle of the pond looked even bigger.

Oh man I cant wait!  I hope thats what it is   She has one leaf gonna go arial to..

My "big" lotus pond is suddenly becoming not much more than a tub in the ground though.  Its long and skinny like 3ft x 7' or so and the big one is in the front.  all the smaller ones coming up behind will probalby be lost .. oh well .. always next year to place them right.

OMG Tink, that is awsome! I sure hope mine do that well. I put part in the pond and part on the deck in a big galvanised wash tub. I'm wondering now if it will acommidate it???? Your weather is for sure ahead of mine. My leaves have reached the surface but wont open. I'm asumming they are smart enough to know it's not warm enough yet?
