Thanks!

I've updated the list.  I've got several more lilies that are producing buds but aren't marked.  Once they bloom I'll be able to identify & let y'all know if they'll be for sale.  Hopefully this week we will have hot days so the plants will be encouraged to send the buds up faster ... rain, rain, please go away ... come again another day!

Kat, I need to know of a heavy white bloomer. I have a Perry's white wonder and it hardly ever blooms compared to the rest of the ones I have. My pond is shaded part of the time and maybe that is the problem. It gets maybe 4 hours of sun. Maybe I should pull it out and fertilize it. Come to think of it, I didn't fertilize this year.  >:(

Also, I have mostly pinks and a Chromatella so could use maybe a yellow of a different shade too.

Hi Esther---unfortunately I cannot help you with white.  I do have N. mexicana which does bloom in partial shade, light yellow color, & is a very rapid grower.  You may want to check with some other members to see if they have yellows & whites plus get their opinion.  Gonnere (sp?) is a lovely white but I don't know if it is shade tolerant or an excellent bloomer.  Joey Tomocik is a very nice yellow & does fine in partial shade but not sure how it will do in only 4 hours of sunlight.  You will probably get a better bloom growth if you get them fertilized.  Thanks.

Esther, Gonnere is beautiful but its not the best bloomer. It takes time for the plant to mature. I've had mine three years now and this summer its finally blooming well. I've always been told that Gonnere likes cooler temps but mine seems to keep going in my desert heat. Its worth the wait if you have the patience.
Denver is an excellent bloomer and is creamy white or very pale yellow depending on how you see it. I wish I knew what my unkown white is because its an super bloomer. Gorgeous flowers and highly scented. :)

Esther, Charlene Strawn is a pale yellow that blooms very well, and does pretty good in the shade also.  Gladstone is a good white bloomer for me.

I used to live in Azle....I know live a few hrs west in Throckmorton.
I was looking for some pond plants...my pond is not very big...(a wal-mart pond kit)
I have a mini lily pad plant but has not yeilded any flowers.
I would like to have a night bloomer....or anything that blooms for that matter....
but something that I can control...so it doesnt take over my pond.
Have any plants for me??
Thank you.

You describe a pond that has very limited space.  A nightbloomer can & will get to at least 4 feet across minimum & really needs more room than that.  All of the plants I'm selling are larger varieties.  If you want smaller lilies then I suggest getting Joanne Pring, Perry's Baby Red, Helvola, or any other dwarf/small variety that is known for being great bloomers.  Tropicals are not known for being small unless you intentionally plant them in small pots & keep the pads pruned back.
