You BOUGHT a hyacinth in a STORE (or on-line) ??  That's strange to me, because, here in Texas, they are illegal.  They have gotten into our waterways and then they grow rampant, clogging the waterflow and crowding out other vegetation.

But they're sooo beautiful, and hardy, and just about all of us have them.  Despite the laws.   :D

Bought the water hyacinth at the local Green Thumb Nursery where it is the cheapest but many water garden sections of many stores carry them.  Lowes does here.
