thx for all ur replies evrbdy. i went out and bought a new aquascape 4500. cost--479.00...i know..lots of money..but when you think that the last pump lasted me over 3 years and you breakdown the cost over that time..it comes out to 0.43 cents a day. not bad considering all the enjoyment your waterfalls bring to you..thx for all ur replies again. i put a couple airators (spelling)?? in the pond and the fish are doing fine until i can place the new pump in a couple days
