I made several of these quite a while ago for the grandkids. It uses mini marshmallows for ammunition.

I was looking at it again snickering, and my kids came in.  My daughter said Marshmellow Gun, how did she make it.  I said, I know how she made it.  She said COOL, can you make me one...lol, but I know her she would run out of ammunition because she would eat them all.

i can see how it's made easily enough. but i don't quite get how it works. i mean what's the difference between just sticking a marshmallow in a straight tube and blowing like a regular blo gun?

What looks like the bottom of the L is actually the top. It is the site.
