Joann, it's Scientific Name is Sedum sarmentosum  aka Stringy Stonecrop.
If that Heads Groundskeeper will be up to planting a Hardy Hibiscus this fall, I would like to send you a start or two of mine.
I know that my Pink & White is large to be divided. O0

Sure Bonnie,  I'm sure he'll love that. Thanks for the name of the ground cover, so many
tourists want to know what it is.  :)

Dahlia, You are so right, the good will stores get their donations from the people that live in the area,
stands to reason the better the area the better the stuff. we should start a thread on Good Will
and yard sale finds! I got a few nice things this week.  @O@ I even picked
up a nice woodworking book for 99 cents, for my Head Cabinet maker, and he was delighted!
Thanks, barb, Jonna, and Kristin.

Kristin, the Asian vase is about 16"tall is cream colored with a lot of gold and red. It has elephants on it.
I always wanted to make a lamp from an antique Asian vase. I got the vase last August and was
pleasantly surprised that it was much nicer than the photo depicted on Ebay.
Lucky for me it was a bad photo cause I was the only person to bid on it!
The bottom is only numbered, there are no other markings.
It has been sitting on our server for a year now and since I haven't made the lamp yet, I filled it with the
branches. Here is a picture  of it right after I got it.

Everything looks beautiful!  The pond and flowers the vases all look incredible.

I always look forward to seeing post of your ponds.  You have never posted anything that is not beautiful.

Your stain glass windows, are to beautiful for words.  Love the Kitty.  Good find on the vase, your arrangements are so pretty and perfect.

I've never even think to go to GW's, hmmmm, might just have to go start looking.

Kim

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.

Thank you Ladies. The vase was a real bargain, I don't think I mentioned the price?
Well, it was 10.00... I think it was a steal...and I still want to make a lamp out of it,
with a nice Asian shade...
what do ya think?

I was at the Good will store this week, and spotted a pink winged back chair
in perfect condition. I told the head guy about it and he went to look at it
with me today... ::) I am going to strip the wood to stain it dark to match our
 furniture.
We put it in the living room, cause it's too big to schlep downstairs to our workroom.
It has a pink color fabric, (pink clashes with our colors)
but it was recently re-upholstered, cause it's very clean and the cushion is
in perfect condition, I won't have to replace the cushion. It is a pretty chair with a
narrow back and large seat. I'm so happy I found it, it's fun taking something old and tired and
giving it a new look...I also wanted a good chair in the Living room for reading.
We'll  re-upholster it (outside on the deck)
The hardest part is picking the fabric...BTW the head upholsterer loves it too...
he has always had a thing for winged backed chairs.
