Would appreciate any advice.  Need to transport my 9 koi.   3 are large approx 18" long.  3 hour drive.  Anyone transported Koi that far?  Anyone use the Kordon Breathing Bag?  Does it work? Please advise as to be way to transport.  Thank you.

Double bag with pure oxygen.  You can use boxes or ice chests to put them in.  Make sure the bags are in the vehicle the long way to the moving direction of the vehicle.  Prevents ouchie noses and broken tails.

3 hours is a piece of cake.  They transport just like above from Japan and much larger fish than 18" for much longer times than 3 hours.  That is how fish are shipped by airlines to customers.  I got mine from NC the last few years and they are in transport for almost 24hours when I get them and the last 3 of that is by car from the airport.

Seems Koiphen had a bagging tutorial on it..might check for that.  uh yup!! video even! http://koiphen.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50266&highlight=bagging+tutorial
