Whoo Hooo I'm going to Billy Joel

After years of retirement Billy Joel is touring again and has written new rock songs. I just got great seats for the November 24th show. I'm a happy camper. He is my favorite, this will be my tenth Billy Joel concert. My first was in 1978.

I found out the presale code yesterday from Googling it but I was an hour after the presale ended. I was so worried that I could not get a decent seat. There were already a ton of tickets on eBay and other ticket scalpers sites.

I had three browser windows open and called on the phone and got the best seats on the phone. Yes, seems like a lot of trouble but it has been many years since he has toured this far West. I saw him with Elton John in 1999 and that was years after the last tour. A fabulous show BTW.

Wow, that's cool. Would you believe that I met his Mom in a thrift shop in Huntington LI? True! Just a regular gal in a  thrift shop... that was cool.  O0 I hope you have a good time, and I hope BJ's voice has stood up well to the years.

Congratulations!  As I recall you've often had problems at Thanksgiving because of the selfish behavior of some relatives.  This Billy Joel concert should make for a quick recovery should that happen again.

If things start going right-rudder around Thanksgiving time keep telling yourself, "I'm going to a Billy Joel concert in a few days". @O@

Thanks Mikey, you are right about the problems in the past. Mostly behind me since I'm not working as a florist anymore. Still, everyone has two sets of relatives and being able to see both sets at the holidays is nice but hard if people aren't flexible about the dates.

If I remember correctly, Joyce's late boss knew him and Joyce has met him.
